Housing made easy
RoomChazer is an equitable access off campus housing solution for local, national, and international students and young professionals in San Diego county. RoomChazer partners with local apt complexes and properties to support the bottom line of their business by renting out units to students that normally are overlooked due to size, number of rooms, or location. At RoomChazer, I bridged the gap between student and organization by inviting students to join our social media team as interns and create daily content based on attractions in San Diego. I wanted to create an image of RoomChazer that focuses on safety, convenience, and affordability. As the Communications Manager, I created a social media narrative that is inclusive of all individuals regardless of background and national origin.
The new non-romantic, matching making service
At Roomchazer, I assisted the director of social media and CEO with website design and messaging. RoomChazer is still in its startup phase and has the potential for exponential growth within the next few years. I had the privilege of growing this organizations housing base during my tenure as the communications manager. I utilized the natural aptitude of students and social media combined with the natural appeal of San Diego to form the bases of a new matching making service specifically designed for finding the best roommates.
